Outcome Results
The ministry has internal systems to track and monitor outcomes associated with the delivery of child welfare services. These systems are part of MCFD's commitment to continuous quality improvement.
The table below highlights some of the ministry's results. Although the project was implemented in 2003, data back to 2001 has been provided.

- Calculated by looking at whether or not families with a closed investigation in a fiscal year (or 12 month period) had a subsequent investigation in the next fiscal year (or 12 month period).
