The Ministry of Children and Family Development, Adoption Services would like to bring the following information to the attention of adoptive parents who are considering adoption from Romania.

*As of January 1, 2005 international adoptions law reads "International adoption of a child residing in Romania can be approved only if the prospective adoptive parent or one of the prospective adoptive parents who are foreign residents is the grandfather/grandmother of the child for whom the procedure of domestic adoption has been approved."
