Maybe you would like to plan Ambrose’s 10th birthday party? He is currently taking applications. When asked, he will tell you that he is smart and cute and that he really wants a dad. That doesn’t seem too much to ask!
This little guy loves a wide range of activities. He loves all kinds of music, including classical which is unusual for a boy who also loves to play outside, ride bikes and play video games. Ambrose also loves toys that include building, doing crafts and being read to. With a wide range like that surely his new family can find some activity to share with him.
Ambrose is a darling little boy. His social worker and foster mom both have very positive things to say about him. Ambrose is very well intentioned although sometimes he needs some coaching to be successful in his social interactions. With adults he is anything but shy but at times needs some help to recognize social cues. Ambrose is imaginative and interesting and finds school a mostly positive experience. He is thoughtful and articulate but sometimes need some help academically and socially.
Ambrose is clear that he wants a dad. His social worker thinks he would do well with an older sibling and a family that is involved with the arts. It would be a sham if Ambrose was unable to explore his connection to music. His family will also need to explore some medical concerns currently being addressed for Ambrose. Some form of openness with Ambrose’s birth mom will need to be considered.
