Baxter
Birth date: February 1998
Ethno-Cultural Background: Caucasian/Turkish
How are your skills on a BMX bike? If they aren’t great you had better be prepared to be a good cheerleader. This young man loves his bike and is very good on it. Baxter also loves most sports and excels at them. Baxter is described as an active, athletic, well behaved little boy with many strengths. He also has some challenges but none that result in behaviour problems.
Baxter is currently in a modified grade 5 program. He functions academically at 2 to 3 years below his age level but he works very hard to achieve his best at school. He is well liked at school by both teachers and friends. He presents as considerably higher than his 71 IQ would suggest and his hard work has really paid off in his current year at school.
Baxter will tell you himself that he is friendly and nice and all reports support his view. He excels at fine arts as well as sports and is generally good at most things using his hands.
This young man would do well in either a single parent or a two parent family. Some openness should be explored with his step mom and half siblings with whom he has positive relationships.
Baxter’s family should be aware of some of the associated concerns with prenatal exposure to drugs. He would do very well with pets in an active family. Baxter likes lots of attention so would likely do better in a smaller family where he can be sure to get his share of attention.
This is a delightful boy whose potential will only be known when all the necessary components are provided. Perhaps this would be a good fit for your family?
