Perhaps 3 active boys would complete your team? All 3 love to be active and are looking for a family to take them as a package. They will all require some coaching and cheering as they move through the various stages of their lives.

Brett is the oldest brother and his is a sports enthusiast. Football is his favourite but he has a number of close seconds. Brett is a sensitive guy who has exceptional manners and is very helpful around the house. He is a great talker and loves to tell you about what is going on for him. Brett is currently in grade 5 and although he has some difficulties, he manages to keep up with his classmates. He communicates well and is creative and expressive. When asked, Brett reports that he sees himself as funny and interesting. He has some diagnosis that will need to be explored with the social worker and professionals involved.

In the middle is Blaise who is currently in grade 1. Like his older brother he is very polite and loves sports. His passion is playing hockey with his friends at school but he also loves riding his bike and jumping on the trampoline. Blaise does quite well with both adults and his peers. He loves to be helpful and is gentle and playful by nature. In school he manages to stay just below the class average. His forte is really in his ability to get along socially.

Alden is only 3 years old and has been in the care of the ministry his entire life. He is very cuddly and loving with people he knows and has a great sense of humour. He needs a parent willing to tuck him in and read him stories every night. Alden is very connected to his older brothers and loves to play with his toys. He has some delays in social and personal developments and will require some support to catch up.

The family for these boys will need to have an understanding of the impact of drugs and alcohol in uterus as all 3 boys have been impacted. Their family will need to be prepared for some degree of openness with their older brother who has never been in the care of the ministry and lives on Vancouver Island. There will definitely be some challenges with parenting these boys but the potential for benefits is endless.
