This charming brother and sister duo are described as talkative, easygoing and thoroughly likeable. They are quick to relate to adults and are generally happy, healthy and well behaved.
Brian, an inquisitive and artistic young man, enjoys swimming and playing with other kids, although he tends to prefer the company of children younger than himself. Brian is working on improving his attention level, social skills and level of anxiety which are affected due to his past experiences and history. He attends full day classes in a grade 5 program with some supports in the classroom setting. He also attends an after-school program to build his social skills and help with homework.
Blythe is a sociable and independent little girl who likes to think of her herself as a Princess and a Movie Star! She loves to be the center of attention, and be ‘first’ in her relationship with her peers. She currently is attending grade 3 full days with some classroom supports. Dancing, swimming and participating in activities with other children are things that she really enjoys. She experiences some “moodiness” but less as she continues to develop in a health environment.
Although these two siblings have a close relationship, they still require supervision to ensure the maintenance of healthy boundaries.
This appealing sibling pair would do well in a ‘forever home’ that has no younger children and where they can feel loved, safe and secure. They would like to keep in contact with their foster family. A non-smoking family would be preferred and a pet that is gentle with children would be welcomed.
