Three brothers that all excel at reading! What are the chances? That is where the similarities end except that they all require some loving coaching to develop the social skills they will need in life.
Craig is the oldest and is currently getting ready to start high school. He loves the idea that he will be the only one of his siblings at the new school. He is engaging and has a flair for the dramatic. Craig does better with adults than with children and could really use your guidance in improving in both areas. Craig is the indoor brother. He is happy to stay in and read, draw or color. He also loves lego and watching television. Craig does well in language arts and loves recess. He needs some help with math and the art of organization. When asked Craig offers up that he is kind and easy going. A nice guy worth getting to know!
In the middle is Antonio. He is one year younger than Craig but is very different in interests. Antonio loves to ride his bike and is happy finding challenges with it by building ramps to jump off of.
He also loves playing tag with his friends and generally being outdoors. He likes school and is good at it. Antonio presents as somewhat shy but is known as the class ‘cut up’. He likes to be funny with his friends. When asked, Antonio will tell you that he is handsome and cute. I think we could safely add ‘charming’ to that list.
The little brother is Sawyer and he is charming and very engaging. Sawyer is dramatic and bold and has lots of energy. He is artistic like his brother Craig and loves all aspects of school. He also loves outdoor play and bike riding. He sees himself as “nice”.
These three boys represent lots of challenges but hold the potential for a treasure of rewards. They need a family that will coach them through developing social skills and advocating for them through the systems that will give them the support they require. The topic of adoption has not been explored much with this group. They will need lots of lead time to make the connections to last them for their lifetimes.
