These three healthy and dynamic siblings have a lot going for them. Currently they are living in separate foster homes but they have a close sibling relationship and would love to be reunited in one family.

Dean is a typical teenager. He loves video games and sleeping! However, when not sleeping he is an active young man with a cheerful, generous personality and a great sense of humour. This teen has talents in athletics and music. Football, badminton, basketball, volleyball and any other sports are on his list of fun things to do. He also plays drums for his school band and church and is learning to play the guitar.

In school, Dean is right on track academically, although he sometimes needs help to organize himself and requires encouragement to do homework and stay on task. He attends a private Christian school where he gets on well with his peers and teachers. Not surprisingly, his favourite subject is Gymnastics.

Aaron, the middle child of these siblings, is a sensitive, considerate and outgoing young man. Like his brother, he is athletically inclined and is a strong player in his basketball team. He also likes audio visual games and outside activities. Other people find him to be a friendly and helpful person, eager to participate in whatever is going on, able to expresses himself well and quick to adjust to new situations or changes in plans. He has come a long way as, in the past, he has had to deal with a great deal of anxiety. His reactions used to involve anger and tantrums but he has developed better coping skills and now has a calmer, happier approach to life.

Aaron does well in school and has a good relationship with his peers and teachers. His favourite subject is Science. His last report was star quality and, amazingly for a teen, he needs only a gentle reminder to complete his homework.

Jaime is in those delightful pre-teen years, a bright, animated, expressive and sociable young lady. She is near the top of her class in school and does well in all her interests. She is very musical and artistic. She has been playing piano for almost two years, is a member of the school choir and loves to sing and dance. Her favourite subjects in school are Art and Gym. Jaime attends a private Christian school where she is well liked by other children and school staff for her sweet natured personality and energy.

Dean, Aaron and Jaime would dearly like to be together in a family that will enjoy their many positive qualities. Church attendance is important especially to Dean and Jaime. They have enjoyed living in a Christian foster home and actively participating in church activities. Jaime says that she would also like to have a sister close to her own age - and a small dog! The ideal parents for these children will have Inuit or Aboriginal connections, but an exception can be sought for a non-Aboriginal family that will encourage and support the children’s cultural identity. Their adoptive parents should be aware of the potential effects of neglect and exposure to domestic violence during the children’s early years, however Dean, Aaron and Jaime do not appear to have been affected by prenatal alcohol or drug exposure. They would benefit from openness with members of their birth family.

If you have room in your heart and home for three full-of-life older children, these exceptional siblings could be the right family for you.
