How about parent teacher interviews for
the grade 1, grade 3 and grade 4s? You could
attend them all with this trio. Three
beautiful little children with loads of
adventures before them who need a family
to support them through them all. Are you
up for the journey?
Diego is the eldest and he is currently in
grade 4. He is described as animated,
articulate, enthusiastic and very likeable. He
does better playing on his own than with his
peers and needs some coaching to develop
the necessary skills to interact easily. He has
learned better skills in interacting with adults so we know he
can do it. Diego loves to
draw, do puzzles and build with bionicles.
He describes himself as liking school, fruits
and vegetables. You won’t have to force this
young man to clean up his vegetables!
Diego’s sister is Josephine. She is one year
younger and currently in grade 3. She is
extroverted, vivacious and endearing.
Josephine has also been slow to develop
friendships with her peers well but has
recently developed a couple of new friends at
school. She loves to be around adults and
demonstrates very good interpersonal skills
when with them. Josephine loves to draw and is an enthusiastic
cheerleader at her
school.
The youngest member of this crew is Juan
and he is in grade 1. Juan is very social and
gets along well with his peers. He is bright
and affectionate, and can be very talkative.
Juan tends to be cautious around adults until
he gets to know them. Then look out! He is
back to being Mr. Social. When asked, Juan
describes himself as a nice guy.
All 3 of these children identify family as
very important to them. The best scenario
would be an active family wanting to parent
these 3 lovely little people while maintaining
some form of openness with members of
their birth family. The family should be
willing to explore the potential risks of
prenatal exposure to drugs and alcohol.
No exception has been granted for these
children so currently we are looking for a
Metis or aboriginal family.
