These two little brothers are looking for a soft place to land. Perhaps there is a soft spot in your home and heart to allow these two brothers the environment they need to succeed. A family that shares some of their aboriginal origins will be given priority for these boys.
Earl is older and has more behavioural and emotional concerns that his brother. Earl attends school half days with a full time aid. He is well liked at school and loves outdoor activities like camping and cook outs. Earl also loves to play dress up and build forts. He does well with adults especially when they are able to set clear and firm boundaries with him. He has had some acting out behaviours and has been working with a mental health counsellor to assist him. Earl functions below his age level in most areas. He loves to make people laugh and can be very good at it.
Earl’s little brother is Desmond. Desmond also loves outdoor play, dressing up and building forts like his older brother. He gets along exceptionally well with other children and almost as well with adults. Desmond is very bright and does well at school. He also loves to ride bikes, throw rocks in the river and play with cars. Desmond has been in the care of the ministry since his birth.
Neither of these bothers was exposed to drugs and alcohol prior to their birth. They have had visits with their birth parents regularly and older siblings that they would like to maintain some form of contact with. They have both done well in the foster home with the other children so would likely do well in a family with other children.
