Are you looking for a pair of siblings to complete your family? These two brown-eyed beauties are described as being enthusiastic, likeable, lively and loving. They require their own family to help them meet the many milestones ahead of them.
Jackson is one year older than his sister, although both are currently in grade two. Jackson loves to build things with his hands from rocks and wood. He also loves to swim, hike, and do any outdoor work like raking, digging and weeding. Jackson is a child that requires a predictable environment. Change is difficult for him. He requires lots of structure and support. Jackson is a child with some medical diagnosis that will need to be explored with his perspective adoptive parents. His parents will need to be prepared to work with the professionals involved. One of Jackson’s strengths is his ability to be a loyal, true friend. When asked, he describes himself as having brown hair and being kind of short (although none of the other people in his life consider him short), that he loves to play with cars and trucks, is a good helper and sometimes gets into trouble. What an honest assessment!
Jackson’s little sister is Jacinta and she is 7 years old. Jacinta loves to do arts and crafts and is a very engaging child. She describes herself as beautiful, tidy and clean as well as being a good worker and a good friend. Jacinta is doing well in grade 2 and her teacher sees lots of leadership qualities emerging in her. She also loves to ride her scooter, run, hike, swim and jump rope. The family for these children should have an awareness of the effects of FAS and NAS as well as potential impact of neglect. Their ideal family would be able to provide a stable, nurturing environment with lots of organization and routine. Some form of openness should be explored with birth family and the foster family. The current care givers believe that a home prepared to provide lots of attention to these two children would be preferable. Perhaps you have lots to offer?
