Three boys; three times the fun! The oldest of the trio is Jason. Jason has carried a lot of responsibility for his younger brothers and really needs the experience of adults assuming that role. Jason is a very bright young man that does well academically. He loves to read and his comprehension is high. Jason really wants a dad to do ‘boy’ stuff with. At times Jason has trouble with his peers and he could benefit from some coaching in the area. Jason loves the outdoors and would love to go camping, swimming or fishing with a family of his own.
Dwayne is in the middle and is quieter and gentler in nature than his older brother. His interests include the outdoor activities Jason loves but also include quieter, more inside endeavours tasks. Dwayne is very popular with his friends and has many of them. He has a great sense of humour and is very easy to spend time with. Dwayne gets along well with both children and adults but at time takes awhile to warm up to adults. It is definitely worth the work.
Tyrone is the baby of the group and just as loveable as you would imagine. He is active and outgoing with a special interest in Spiderman. He also loves books, toys and his bath. He has formed a strong attachment to his foster mother who has provided his care for his entire short life. Tyler currently attends a play group and does well socially. He has been around other children all his life in the foster home and interacts well most of the time. Tyrone loves attention and will accept as much as you are willing to shower him with. Tyler does let his wishes be known and in not always the most appropriate manner. He needs some help figuring his way through the situations life will throw at him. Tyrone has been delayed in some of his physical development. He did not walk until he was 16 months old and has shown other delays. That and some health concerns will need to be explored between his new family and their social worker.
All 3 of these boys have been exposed to drugs and alcohol prior to their birth. Their family will need to be prepared for some of the uncertainties involved with this. The boys could really benefit from having a male figure in their lives as this has been missing thus far. Some openness will need to be explored with their maternal grandfather and for Tyrone with his current foster mother. All 3 of the boys love to be active so a family that shares this would likely be the best fit for them.
