Birth date: April 1994
Ethno-Cultural Background: Caucasian

Kelly is not new to the bulletin. Previously she was featured with her two sisters. A separate plan has now been made for the two sisters and Kelly is available all on her own. Kelly is 14 years old and still a brown-eyed beauty.

Kelly’s caregivers describe her as affectionate, eager, caring and helpful. Pretty strong praise coming from the family she lives with! Kelly has dreams of being a veterinarian and if her interest in animals is any indication, this would be a good direction for her. She currently has a cat named Rosie and a Shitzu dog, plus she does some dog walking for some elderly neighbours.

Animals are not Kelly’s only interest. She also loves to read, do arts and crafts and is really enjoying her sewing class at school. Cooking is another interest of Kelly’s. Perhaps she could experiment in your kitchen?

Last year, in grade 7, Kelly received an award for public speaking when she narrated the school play. She is known to be gentle and caring with younger children and is an all round, lovely girl.

With all these incredible things in her favour, all Kelly needs is her own cheering section. She would do best in a family that was able to provide firm loving limits and a calm atmosphere. She thrives on one-to-one time and a family that allowed for that would work well for her.

Kelly would need some form of openness with her two sisters, her grandparents and perhaps additional birth family members. The lower mainland would provide easy access for that and to the continued involvement of the professionals involved in her life. Her ideal family would be willing to support her through her development and cheer as she reaches her full potential.
