Meet Lanny and Rachel, a sibling duo who are sure to fill your home with laughter and activity. They are a bright and busy pair who would thrive in a structured, nurturing environment. Animated and rambunctious, Lanny has loads of energy and loves to play, indoors and out. He enjoys other children and plays well in a group setting. He can lose his patience if frustrated, but responds well to redirection.
Lanny has FASD and has a full time education assistant to help him be successful at school. He is currently working below his grade level, has a short attention span and some anxiety, which is consistent with FASD. Despite these setbacks from his early life, Lanny remains open to guidance from the adults around him and forms loving connections with those he cares about. Given consistent support with clear expectations, Lanny can be his best self – a spunky, affectionate boy full of life!
Rachel is a likable, well behaved girl, who relates well with both adults
and other children. She enjoys school and does not require any extra assistance
in the classroom. Her favourite activity is crafts but she also enjoys
outdoor games and has similar interests to the other girls in her peer
group. She is on track developmentally in all areas. Affectionate and loving,
Rachel has a lot to offer and would thrive in a permanent home that can
provide a nurturing environment.
If you have the time and devotion to commit to this sweet sibling duo, you might want to meet Lanny and Rachel. In addition to your love and support, they need help to maintain a connection to their birth family and the Métis Community.
