Matilda is motivated! Look out as she is on a mission to find her own family. She is currently 16 years old, in grade 11/12 and on the honors list. She has many things figured out in life but wants her own family to support her, care about her and listen to her while she completes her transition into adulthood. She is hoping to cherish a family that will do the same for her.
Matilda has so many things going for her that it is tough to decide where to begin. For starters, she loves to write. She writes poetry, short stories and is currently working on a novel about vampires. If she continues she will need a family to attend her awards ceremonies throughout her life.
Matilda gets along really well with children of all ages. She is especially good with younger children. She is well loved by children and adults alike wherever she goes. When asked, her high school counselor responds with “What is not to like about Matilda?” That is a rousing endorsement by any standards. Add to that adjectives like sensitive, charismatic and endearing and you end up with an impressive young lady.
Matilda is not sports minded. She likes to walk but would rather be creating something than playing sports. She describes herself as quiet and creative. She is about 5’6” and of average build. She has no physical disabilities and functions at an age appropriate level. Matilda loves pets, especially dogs.
Matilda loves her space to be tidy. She currently has sporadic contact with her birth mother. Matilda has had some difficulty sleeping and with mild depression in the past. These are currently being handled through life style and a mild antidepressant. All in all Matilda has a lot to offer and is excited by the prospect of offering it to her very own family.
