Two typical energetic, fun loving boys – what a wonderful way to liven up your family life! Skateboarding, road hockey, sports and swimming will become a part of your routine with these imaginative and outgoing boys in your home.

Older brother, Mitch, is a clever, sociable and engaging young man who will try anything related to sports activities. He needs a positive male role model – perhaps someone who can share his interest in sports with him?  Mitch does well in school where he needs a little help in math but functions at age level in all other subjects. He describes himself as “fun” and “helpful”. He certainly is both, although he can at times be “too helpful” as his desire to please can become overwhelming. This sensitive and caring little boy needs a family where he feels secure and appreciated.

Alec, like his brother, is an intelligent and outgoing child. He also has a good imagination and can be quite artistic. He gets on well with other children and adults and, despite a rough early life, has kept his sense of fun and generosity. At school he is functioning at grade level and “meets educational expectations”. In fact he needs a little help with science but “exceeds expectations” in math. He is described as sociable, considerate and caring – not bad for a 6 year old!

Despite a difficult start in life, Alec and Mitch have come a long way. Both were prenatally exposed to drugs although, so far, Alec is doing well and Mitch appears to have been unaffected. Their early experiences have left them with issues around hoarding food and overeating. They attend play therapy and are making good progress but will continue to need some help during the adoption process.

This delightful duo would thrive in a family with active younger parents, perhaps with siblings aged 3 or older. They are capable of forming strong bonds with other people in their lives. They would like to keep in touch with their foster parents and have some contact with members of their birth family. Feeling safe and loved is very important to these little guys. They enjoy being a part of a wholesome, caring family. Could it be yours?
