Birth date: October 2002
Ethno-Cultural Background: Caucasian

How much to do you like Johnny Cash? This blonde-haired, blue-eyed little guy loves him! Perhaps you can sing along? If not, how about playing with Hot Wheels? Reid is a big fan of both these topics. He also loves to be outside, run and play at the park. Reid has a long list of outdoor activities that he already loves. These include running, soccer, water play, climbing and digging. Surely at least one of those activities interests you? Maybe you would like to introduce a few new ones to him?

Reid currently attends a Montessori day care that has a kindergarten attached. The decision was made not to put him into full-time kindergarten this year to allow Reid the benefit of a higher staff to student ratio.

Reid is described as sweet, likeable, spirited and spunky. He has some challenges socially and could benefit from some loving coaching in this area. He needs some help in figuring out relationships in general. Lots of structure and predictability help Reid function at his best. He does not do as well when over stimulated.

Reid’s family should be prepared to educate themselves around the topic of prenatal exposure to drugs and alcohol. He would likely do best in a family that had lots of time to dedicate one-on-one with him. A family without pets would likely be a better option for Reid. A family willing to discuss openness with Reid’s grandmother and siblings would be in his best interests.
