Do either of these fit for you? “A family that would love me and care for me and want me to be a part of their family.” Or how about “someone willing to take the place of my birth father and mother.” This is how these two sisters describe what they are looking for in a family, when asked. Those sounds like reasonable requests to me.

This is not a one-way proposal as they have lots to offer in return. Tamara, for example, is a beautiful girl with shiny hair and rosy cheeks. She describes herself as sometimes funny and sometimes emotional but always kind, helpful and fun. What a combination! She is also thought to be a delightful, sweet, patient, polite little girl with lots going for her. Her interests are many and include dance, swimming, horseback riding, Girl Guides and shopping. What a range!

Tamara does better with adults than she does with her peers but would like some help to get better with this. She excels in reading but needs some help with math and language arts.

Bonita is almost 2 years younger than her sister. She is active, artistic and clever, and loves going to movies and birthday parties. She loves swimming, fishing and camping and lots of outdoor activities. Bonita loves animals and would love the opportunity to be around them. Bonita needs some help to develop and maintain friendships. She excels in math and art and needs some extra help with reading and writing.

These two sisters need a home together that will be willing to help them develop the skills they need to succeed. They consider themselves Christians and would like a family that would allow them to continue to attend church. Some openness would need to be established with some birth family and their current foster family. The family should be willing to explore the impact of a wide range of abuse on development and be prepared to advocate for these beautiful girls to get the help they require.
