Hearing Aids
The At Home Program provides analog and digital hearing aids and personal FM systems.
Funding is available to a maximum of $1,500 for one ear and $3,000 for two ears.
The minimum replacement period is 4 years
The following items are also available:
- batteries (to a maximum of 52 per aid per year)
- earmolds/acoustic couplers and swim molds
- dri-aids and air blowers
Prior approval is required for all benefit items, including refits and repairs.
Requests must be submitted by a certified Audiologist and include a justification and an audiogram taken within six months of the application. The request should also include the type of batteries and quantity required.
The Product Distribution Centre will supply batteries.
