Understanding the Audit
This webpage is designed as a resource for service contractors, the public and staff who wish to better understand the internal audit process.
To ensure and demonstrate accountability, MCFD performs audits of its programs. Therefore, contract(s) with the Ministry of Children and Family Development (the ministry or MCFD) usually include an audit clause. When the ministry wants an audit done, they generally engage the government's internal auditors, Internal Audit and Advisory Services (IAAS).
