CARF 2007 Standards Manuals

The CARF 2008 standards manuals contain the standards that are applied to CARF surveys conducted between July 1, 2008 and June 30, 2009.

As in previous years, the manuals are available for BC agencies to download from this web site.

The following login is for access to the CARF manuals. These manuals provided to Ministry of Children and Family Development contracted agencies to guide their preparations for CARF accreditation. The content of the manuals is copyrighted and therefore access is restricted to BC agencies accredited/accrediting with CARF.

CARF Standards Dates

CARF issues a new manual for each division in January every year.

The standards are in effect for all site surveys conducted from July 1st of that year through June 30th of the following year. The application for a survey should be submitted to CARF when the agency is ready for survey dates to be established.

After the application has been received by CARF, it takes approximately five months for a survey to be scheduled.
