Maria Rodrigues (Coast Fraser)
One year after she immigrated to Canada, Maria began working at University Hill Preschool. Sixteen years later, she still feels she’s in the best profession in the world. In Maria’s words, “As an early childhood educator, I am more than just a teacher. Along with children and their families, I am part of a community of learners.”
