Child Care Capital Funding Program
Minor Capital Funding for Emergency Repair, Replacement and Relocation
Minor Capital Funding helps licensed group child care providers maintain quality services for families in their communities. Under this program, child care facilities may receive up to $2,000 per facility (not per licence) for:
- Emergency upgrades or repairs to existing facilities;
- Emergency replacement of furnishings and equipment necessary to comply with the Ministry of Health Child Care Licensing Regulation; or
- Relocation costs when a child care facility is moving to another location.
To apply for 2013/14 Minor Capital funding:
- Review the funding guidelines and Sample Eligible & Ineligible Items Table:
- Complete the application form and include all required documentation:
- Mail your completed application to the address on the application form.
After your application has been received:
- It will be reviewed to determine eligibility for funding.
- Application processing times are up to six weeks.
- Funding is subject to approval and availability of funds.
