Eligibility
To be eligible for Child Care Operating Funding you must:
- be a licensed group or family child care provider and be operating a child care facility;
- hold a valid Community Care and Assisted Living Act licence and be licensed to provide one or more of the following types of care:
- Group
- Group Child Care (Under 36 Months)
- Group Child Care (30 Months to School Age)
- Preschool
- Group Child Care (School Age)
- Multi-Age Child Care (refer to FAQ Multi-Age Child Care)
- Family
- Family Child Care
- In-Home Multi-Age Child Care
- Multi-Age Child Care (refer to FAQ Multi-Age Child Care)
- be in good standing with the Ministry of Children and Family Development;
- be operated by a non-profit society or a registered company in good standing with the BC Corporate Registry, be a sole proprietorship or partnership, first nations government, local government or public institution; and
- be willing to provide services to families receiving Child Care Subsidy.
