ECE Statistics & Information
The Early Childhood Educator Registry collects valuable information about the ECE Sector from new and renewing applicants. This information helps to describe the sector and its challenges. For instance, wage information is collected to help determine the average wages for different positions within the sector. Types of current and past employment is collected to identify where our ECEs are coming from or if they are leaving the sector, what sector they are going to. The Early Childhood Educator Registry needs more information to help determine the issues and opportunities associated with being an ECE in BC.
