Child Care Subsidy

Program Description

The Child Care Subsidy is a monthly payment that helps British Columbia families meet the costs of child care. A calculation that takes into account your income and family size determines eligibility. The Child Care Subsidy can be used to help pay for the following eligible types of care:

• Licensed
• Group day care
• Family child care
• Preschool
• Out of School
• Licence Not Required
• Family child care
• Registered family care
• In child's home
• Out of School

Child Care Subsidy services are now provided by the Child Care Subsidy Service Centre (CCSSC). The CCSSC is accessible by phone, fax and mail.
