Building Blocks

Building Blocks is an umbrella term for a number of parent support programs. Building Blocks aims to increase the ability of parents to support the healthy development of children from pre-conception to age six.

Building Blocks programs include: Parent Child Mother Goose, Nobody's Perfect,Toy Lending Libraries and Family Literacy.

There are now 31 Building Blocks programs across BC, six of which are Aboriginal Building Blocks programs. Communities select programs according to their unique need for parenting support in the community.

For more information about Building Blocks programs, visit the BC Council for Families Web site at www.bccf.bc.ca
