Children First Regional Initiative
Children First regional initiatives support and promote the healthy growth and development of young children, birth to six years. Using a community development approach, local groups work together to assess, identify and plan for the unique needs of young children in their community.
Children First initiatives collaborate with other early years community partners such as, Success by 6®, the Human Early Learning Partnership and the Community Action Program for Children to strengthen early years services in communities across BC.
Children First is a member of the Early Years Community Development Institute - a network of organizations and initiatives that support the practice of early years community development professionals.
