Child, Family and Community Consultant
The consultant serves as the clinical liaison for the Provincial Services for Deaf and Hard of Hearing, and as a resource for MCFD staff and their community partners. The consultant provides:
- Consultation to Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD) and community partners regarding accessibility and meeting the needs of families with deaf, hard of hearing, and deaf-blind members;
- Clinical consultation to MCFD child protection workers, supervisors and managers in dealing with child abuse and neglect cases involving families with members who are deaf, hard of hearing, and deaf-blind;
- Clinical consultation to the Victory Hill Residential Program and Services for Family and Community Development.
