These services help families in their role as primary caregivers and promote a child's healthy development and maximum quality of life.

Services for Individuals with Developmental Disabilites

On June 23, 2008, government announced changes in ministry responsibilities. These changes included a transfer of services for children and youth with special needs and their families, currently provided by Community Living BC (CLBC), to the Ministry of Children and Family Development.
