Resources Privately run agencies such as Covenant House, Servants Anonymous and New Opportunities for Woman (NOW) Canada Society, also provide a variety of complementary services focusing on the needs of high risk youth such as food, counselling, and emergency accommodation. Other resources include: AIDS - Information for Young People Safe, Caring and Orderly Schools - In the spring of 2002, government appointed a Safe Schools Task Force to consult with parents, students and educators across the province to identify ways to address violence in schools. BC Children's Hospital Mental Health - a provincial resource providing assessment and treatment for children, youth and families requiring mental health services.
